To submit an abstract, it is necessary to login to your private IST/SBTX Congress area by using your email and the password chosen during registration. Only after payment is confirmed, the link “Abstract Submission” will appear in your area.

Abstract format

• The title of the abstract (Times New Roman, font 12, capital letters) should be brief and objectively describe the study. All other text must be in Times New Roman, font 10. Affiliations must be italicized and the presenting author must be underlined.
• Abstracts should be structured but not subdivided to include background, material and methods, results and conclusions.
• Abstracts must be in A4 format, with all margins set to 2.54 cm (1 inch).
• The online abstract submission procedure will not accept abstracts that exceed 2.500 characters including spaces (title, authors, affiliations, text of the abstract, financial support). Do not forget to add a maximum of five keywords at the end, after financial support) to help in the allocation of your work and to select your preference for presentation.
• Abbreviations may be used if standard or if spelled out and defined at the first use (put in parentheses immediately after the first mention of a term or phrase). Compounds should be mentioned with the generic name, in lower cases. Commercial names are admitted in the text, with an ®, and if in brackets following the generic name, i.e. “generic (Commercial ®)”.
• The abstract must be submitted in good English. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject those abstracts that are presented in poor English, or may request an immediate revision by the presenter.
• The abstract must be submitted in the name of the presenting author.
• Submission of an abstract does not mean registration. Abstract presenters must register to attend. Please, follow the instructions for registration on the congress website. 
• Abstract submissions are limited to two abstract per registration.
